Public involvement
SRP is seeking public comment and input throughout the permitting process.
Project milestones are:
- Project announcement
- Share details on site selection
- Share details on filing for a certificate from the Arizona Corporation Commission
- The ACC hearing process
Community Advisory Forum
An integral part of SRP's comprehensive public process is the Community Advisory Forum. We are inviting representatives from interested jurisdictions, community planners and other stakeholders to participate. Potential participants can contact Janeen Rohovit at (602) 236-2679.
Public open houses
The project remains in phase 2. No open houses are scheduled at this time. Please check back for updates.
SRP hosted three public open houses in Pinal County communities in June 2008. Topics of discussion included the selected sites for new generating facilities, as well as needs and benefits of their development.

- June 12, 2008 at Mary C. O'Brien School, 1400 N. Eleven Mile Corner Road, Casa Grande.
